Overview
Introducing a versatile, athletic, and remarkably sane 2017 Registered Oldenburg Gelding. Born and raised at the prestigious Mystic Valley Farm, this gelding offers the perfect blend of modern sport horse talent and a golden temperament.
He was kept as a stallion until age 5, giving him a proud, beautiful presence and a strong foundation, before transitioning seamlessly into a focused, quiet gelding. He has plenty of miles under his belt at the 2'6" - 2'9" levels and is fully eligible for 3'. He is ready to do more, and we are currently seeking the right rider/trainer/home combination to take him to the next level.

Sire: He is sired by Talisman, the standout performer represented by the world-renowned Hilltop Farm. Talisman was a dominant force in the Young Jumper divisions—winning the YJC Eastern League Finals—and went on to a highly successful career at top-tier venues like Wellington, Kentucky, and the Hamptons.
Grandsire: His grandsire is the legendary Toulon, an international showjumping superstar who continues to be one of the most highly desirable and dominant sire lines in the modern hunter/jumper world.

Note on Blemish: He is blind in his left eye. This blemish does not hinder him whatsoever. Because he is naturally level-headed and was raised with it, he adapts beautifully, tracks objects normally, and remains completely reliable and confident under saddle and in harness.
At Shows: Easy and enjoyable to take off-property; handles the horse show environment with a level head.
On the Trails: A pleasure to ride out, proving to be brave and sensible.
Conformation & Soundness
Structure: Excellent, correct conformation with a strong topline and athletic build.
Hooves: Well-shaped, high-quality feet.
Farrier Care: Low-maintenance keeper. He requires only simple steel shoes in front and comfortably runs barefoot in the hind.
Bitting & Tack
He is remarkably uncomplicated in the mouth and accepts a variety of bitting options depending on the rider's goals:
Everyday/Basic Riding: Rides beautifully in simple snaffles (loose ring, D-ring, or full-cheek).
Schooling/Advanced Work: Can easily transition into a lever or gag-type bit for higher-demand work or refined schooling.
Diet & Keep
He is an easy keeper with a straightforward, simple dietary routine:
Pasture: Currently thrives on 6 hours of daily grass pasture grazing.
Hay: Supplemental hay provided morning and evening.
Grain (Once Daily): * 1/4 scoop of oats
1/2 cup of "Enrich" ration balancer
